Four to Six Months Before Arrival

One to Two Months Before Arrival
Review room options as they are shared with you, including photos, exact travel time to NUS, and what is included in the rent. Confirm the room with a clear move-in date that matches your flight and orientation schedule. Ask about the lease length and deposit terms in writing before you commit.
The Week You Arrive
Do a walkthrough of the room with your landlord or property manager and note any existing damage. Confirm wifi is working and ask how to reach your property manager for anything urgent. Save the transport route to NUS in your phone’s maps app before your first day of orientation.
